US declassifies massive nuclear weapons test footage

Footage released by the U.S government shows a nuclear bomb going off on a Pacific Island in May, 1958. The US conducted around 200 nuclear tests between 1945 and 1962 with devices being detonated on the ground, in the water and in the air.  The tests took place in Nevada’s Mojave desert and on islands in the Pacific.
